Supermarket shelves

Supermarket shelves (also known as gondola shelving) serve as the primary display system in retail spaces. Featuring a modular, bolt-free, hook-in design, they allow for rapid adjustments to shelf height and angle based on product dimensions and merchandising strategies, aiming to maximize product visibility and optimize customer traffic flow.

Key shelf types include: Double-Sided Gondola Racks: These are the mainstay of the central supermarket area, allowing products to be displayed on both sides.

Application: Used to create long aisles and display standard merchandise (such as snacks, personal care products, and pantry staples).

Single-Sided Wall Racks: These are placed against a wall, with shelving installed on only one side. Application: They utilize perimeter wall space effectively and are typically taller than gondola racks.

End Caps (or End Bays): Positioned at the ends of double-sided gondola racks, facing the main aisle. Application: Known as "prime promotional real estate" in retail, they are dedicated to showcasing high-margin items, promotional goods, new products, or seasonal best-sellers.
